The 3rd Mediterranean Lifestyle Medicine Symposium Has Come to a Close!

The Mediterranean Lifestyle Medicine Institute successfully concluded its 3rd Annual Symposium – a four-day gathering that brought together professors, researchers, and clinicians from 18 countries.

Over the course of the event, participants presented their latest work from the past 12 months, all centered on the role of the Mediterranean Lifestyle in promoting health, well-being, and longevity.

The Mediterranean Lifestyle goes far beyond the well-known Mediterranean Diet. It includes regular physical activity, quality sleep and relaxation, effective stress management, meaningful social connections, and the mindful enjoyment of alcohol.

The Institute’s mission is to research and promote this lifestyle as a holistic path to better health, longevity, and genuine well-being – an approach that reaches deeper than conventional definitions of happiness.

And what better place to explore the Mediterranean Lifestyle than a Mediterranean island itself? The island of Leros offers the perfect setting for immersive learning – a place where participants don’t just study the lifestyle, but live and breathe it through authentic, daily experiences.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the community of Leros for their warmth and generous hospitality, which once again made the symposium unforgettable. These treasured experiences travel home with each participant, leaving a lasting impact.
